Privacy Policy
Applies to the website offloadr.at · Last updated: July 2026
In short: The Offloadr app runs entirely offline – no account, no tracking, no data sent to us. This policy covers the website offloadr.at. The section “The Offloadr app” below summarises what applies inside the app.
1. Controller
2. Hosting & server logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you visit the site, the host processes technically necessary access data in server logs: shortened IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser type and operating system. This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning web presence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). As Vercel may process data in the USA, the transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Google Analytics (consent only)
For anonymised traffic measurement we use Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics is only loaded after you have explicitly consented in the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2, disabled by default). Without consent, no analytics cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google.
The data processed is pseudonymous usage data (e.g. pages visited, approximate region, device type, time on page). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings. Details on the individual cookies are in the Cookie Policy.
4. Newsletter / update notifications
Via the “Stay in the loop” form you can leave your email address to receive occasional updates about Offloadr. Sign-up uses a double opt-in process: you first receive a confirmation email and are only added after you confirm.
Your email address and the time of sign-up are stored for this purpose with Supabase Inc. (970 Toa Payoh North, Singapore / USA), our database provider. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to office@offloadr.at; your data will then be deleted.
5. Contact
If you contact us by email, we process your details solely to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. The Offloadr app
The iOS app was built on the principle “what you shoot on set stays on your devices”:
- No data transfer to us or external servers – the app runs entirely offline.
- No tracking, no ads, no user profiles, no analytics.
- No account, no login.
- Only the permissions strictly needed, via Apple’s Security-Scoped Resources and the PHPicker; full Privacy Manifest in the App Store.
An internet connection is only required if you choose to load photos from iCloud or address a NAS on your local network – in both cases the data stays within your environment.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise these rights, contact office@offloadr.at. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde)
Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria
